COMMUNITY DESIGN FACILITATION

As an architectural designer for WXY architecture + urban planning, James often facilitated community based design meetings by leading collaborative discussions between designers and the active citizens of the different boroughs of New York City.  As a way to envision the implications of removing a portion of the Sheridan Expressway in the Bronx, James was part of a small team that built a scale model of the surrounding urban area so the public could participate in the design process for the future of their neighborhood.
