A team proposal to alleviate the water problems prevalent in Mexico City, a reimagined food stall was invented that would provide a direct water source for street vendors.  These concrete cores would utilize the bio-sand filtering method, a natural and easily maintained filtration system, used in countries where potable water is inaccessible.  The treated water can be worked into the existing supply lines and become a new source for residents or be used to replenish the aquifer beneath the city.

 Along with fellow architect Michael Ong, James conceived this proposal through a grant program funded by the Spitzer School of Architecture.  Presentation delivered in 2012.
